    Comments Thread For: Marcos Maidana Injured, Bradley Fight To Be Pushed Back

    BoxingScene.com has confirmed that WBA-interim champion Marcos Maidana has suffered a back injury and his scheduled fight against WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, set for June 19 on HBO, will be pushed back for at least one month. The fight is tentative to land in the month of July. I've been told Maidana's management is asking for a postponement of least 20 to 30 days.

                  Well July 10th is the Marquez-Diaz HBO PPV. So either July 17 or July 24.

                              How bad is the back injury? If its that bad, they should get a replacement and cancel the fight for now and make it another day.
