WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is a bit worried when it comes to making a deal for a unification bout with WBA champ David Haye. On Monday Klitschko released a video baiting Haye to accept a fight. The British fighter's manager, Adam Booth, will begin negotiations with Klitschko's management this week. Last year Haye had agreed to fight Wladimir in June and then wanted to fight older brother Vitali Klitschko in September. The British boxer withdrew from both fights. Wladimir doesn't trust Haye's promise to follow through if the two sides reach a deal. [Click Here To Read More]

He keeps you busy on the keyboard though mate!

"this time you will not see defensive boxing as in my last few fights. I will be more aggressive."
Getting under Wlad's skin and forcing an aggressive fight out of him is exactly what Haye wants. The former needs to be careful with that mindset and not fall into such a trap. Whilst I don't agree with his methods and words, these are good mind games from Haye - they seem to be working.

Sanders proved this.

But an aggressive Wlad against a fast and sneaky power puncher like Haye ? I'll believe it when I see it.

So honestly, what's the "smarter" move for Haye. Fight three bums in the UK (Holyfield, Meehan and Valuev rematch just to name some potential opponents), make 2.5 million quid each fight for a total paycheck of 7.5 million for VERY LITTLE RISK.
Or go fight Wlad, take a big risk (Haye is not without a chance IMO, but he is the underdog no matter what) and make the same 7.5 million quid.
If I was Haye I'd go with the zero risk option. Fight the bums, make good money, wait until Vitali retires and until Wlad is beyond his prime.
