Comments Thread For: Carlos Quintana: "Andre Berto Was Just Too Good"

There were no excuses from former welterweight champion Carlos Quintana. He was stopped in eight rounds last Saturday when he challenged WBC champion Andre Berto. Quintana said Berto was simply a better fighter. He hit a lot harder than Quintana expected, and his defense was a lot better too. [Click Here To Read More]

This article is completely, out of context.

Quintana never said Berto was too good, nor his defense was thaat great. Only thing Quintana said in that interview was that Berto is very fast and didnt hit as hard as he tought!

Berto better play it safe because he is not ready for none of the big names. and is lucky he didn't fight Mosley cuz he would of got KO'D. Mayweather and Manny would destroy him too. Berto really has no way to go. he can't fight a no name, and he can't beat Mayweather,Mosley,Manny, or PWill

I know Berto has a bunch of haters. Please post and give Berto some hate, it doesn't even have to make sense, not that that would matter to most. Most were very ready to say Q was drained, but they can't exactly use that excuse. But I sure they will think of something.

well on to bigger and better things for Berto how about a huge PPV battle vs Juan Diaz...

Quintana should move up to 154 and give it a few more fight and pack it in if he keeps losing.
