I joined yesterday and expected decent conversation between lovers of boxing.

Nearly every thread has been ******ed with this "america sucks" and "Brits r gay" bull****.

If people came in here saying "****ing ******s" or "Goddamn ****s" there would be outrage, but its the same thing.
racism is a last resort for idiots, now everyone just get along for ****s sake.

Its not normally this crazy, its only because all of people lost a lot of pride and points on the Hatton vs Tszyu.

I don't consider it racist for someone to bash someone else's country. There is a huge difference in saying "**** England" and "**** black people" or "**** white people" or something.

On that note, **** France. Bunch of frog eating winos with their artsy talk and their snooty attitudes and their cheap perfumes and peaceful ways. Unwilling to help the allied powers go bully small countries. And their 6 week mandatory vacations.

i totally agree with you but theres a lot of folk out there who were calling ricky names, a coward and protected and blah blah blah, probably the very same people who are moaing it wa sa dirty fight, it w as aknockdown etc etc etc.

you get these folk on the intenet unfortuantly, nothign wrong with picking agianst a fighter. Everything wrong with quiestioning his integrity and balls, then not giving him credit.

especailly someone as downb to earth and respectful as Ricky hatotn, he is a clas sact bot h in and outside the ring.

i wasnt questioning Ricky but like someone else said it just seemed like alot of strange things happened. and i was not refering to Ricky but to Kostya. i just found it very weird. and i NEVER talked **** about Ricky. people started calling me a "Britain hater" i was just pointing out the strange things that happened in the fight.
mainly why would Kostya quit in the 11th if he wasnt getting killed and the cards were close.
i dont see any britain hating in that thread i dont see why people keept calling me a "wanker" ..

I intend to, its just that the constant arguments (which noone will win) are going to deviate the course of alot of discussions.

In my opinion,(on the Hattan v Kosta fight)They both fought dirty, but Hatton still outboxed him.

The problem is that you get called a '****face' and '****head' or a 'dumb ****er' (all aimed at me in the last 2 days!) just for voicing your own opinion!

I am a dumb ****er quite a lot of the time but I'm certainly not a ****head!

Note - What exactly IS a ****head?! Does that mean I have sex with my head? My own head or someone elses?

Euro ****** is another one although I don't mind that so long as their talking about Brains ******s with peas & chips!

I'm an American, and I have no ill feelings toward England, I was just like "Damn, I picked Golota and he lost...then I pick Kostya and he quits...Boy, I'm on a roll!"

I feel like you, I am 0 for 4 in the last big fights, now I have to listen to my coworker who is a fake a$$ boxing fan talk about how he is the greatest boxing analyst ever, because he picked winky and hatton, but back to the topic of the thread, this is a good palce when there is a lot of boxing going on, but I have noticed that a lot of tension gets built up and a lot of fighting occurs when we have to wait too long for a big fight...
