Wrong. These guys would have been stars without Arum. Floyd and DLH became bigger stars and made more money without Arum.

      I would want Golden Boy.

But I would start with Teiken first. Like Jorge Linares or Edwin Valero, then switch to a new promotion.... I would choose Golden Boy.

Arum/Top Rank is the best promoter there. But the negative is all the petty feuds he gets into with other promoters that stop good fights from being made. Goossen, DiBella, and Shaw all do a good job looking out for their talent. Golden Boy does a ****ty job but benefits from TV networks pampering them.

dude, get serious. there's a lot of talented boxers out there... ward, bradley, caballero, etc... but none of them are being guided the way dlh, pac, pbf, or morales did. if arum had these guys in his stable, they'd be bigger than they are now in terms of star power.

I like the smaller promoters. A lot of GBP fighters are way overhyped, and I'd hate to be like Diaz or Ortiz. Arum is a good promoter, but he cares more about money than the fighters. I wouldn't want that for myself. So I'd go with Dibella. He's a good promoter and a good guy.

Go make another Floyd, DLH, etc. if he's so good.

linares got jinxed in the ring the moment he joined GBP, just like what happened to oritz.

valero problems have nothing to do with TR promoting him... its all outside bull**** that caveman puts on himself.

It's Arum's duty to get the best deal he can for his fighters, and as far as "caring only about money" I doubt that is true, since there is no fact or proof to substantiate it. Just the mouthings of some cretinous posters.

Arum gives millions to charities around the world, makes his fighters multi millionaires, promotes them to their peak reputations, and....not least, has taught Oscar and Mayweather, amongst many others, how to promote, save your money, invest and prosper.

They will never be more popular than Floyd and DLH and they'll never make more money than Floyd and DLH.
