    Lacy on his way

Who's pulling for Lacy to take out Omar Sheika this weekend? Lacy's maybe my favourite young fighter at this point...he outclassed Syd Vanderpool after some early trouble and really seems like he could go far.

I say Lacy TKO 5 in this one.

Omar Sheika is not going to handle Lacy's power. I think Lacy gets a little overrated for his win against Vanderpool. I mean the guy stood there and traded with him and everyone knows that's the best way to get knocked out by Lacy. Lacy has just temporarily erased his problem with movers from people's minds in my opinion. Maybe he will rule the 168 division someday but not now. As much as I don't really care for Calzaghe I think he beats Lacy.

I believe he will be the class of the 168lbs division within a year!

I saw an interview with Vanderpool after the fact on a boxing show up here in Canada and he seemed like a bit of an idiot. He was trying to claim that he was fighting well while avoiding the fact that he lost the fight. And yes, he basically admitted that he stood in there with Lacy when he shouldn't have. I think Lacy needs a bit of work right now but I see him rising fast.

I think Lacy will eventually takeover the super middleweight division and even the light heavyweight division. I think it's better for him that there are not too many movers in his division. Right now I'd take a tough guy like Danny Green and a good skilled fast guy like Calzahge over Lacy. Danny Green is an in your face type fighter but right now I think Lacy should stay away from him. Sheika is just a guy who can make Lacy look great while not risking too much in my opinion. He is just an opponent to keep Lacy's name out there.

Lacy wins, but it'll be fun for as long as it lasts. Really, Sheika's not in a terrible fight very often.

I havent seen a lot of Lacy's fights. I saw a little of his last one and I thought he looked really good. If anyone has Lacy fights for DL, let me know.

I think Lacy will dispose of Shieka fairly easily.

Sheika will try & box Lacy, like he did Butler.
But, Lacy is a better fighter than Butler. So, while I expect Sheika will last the distance in a disappointing fight, Lacy will win a comfortable decision.
