    What Happens to Tszyu Now?

I'm pretty much gonna give my analysis on the fight right here. So i finaly got a chance to see the hatton/tszyu fight. I thought this was a very entertaining fight, sure hatton fought dirty but i can forgive him for that, except when he spun zoo around and smacked him behind the head, that wasn't cool. Anyway, to me the fight was really close, i had hatton up by 2 points going to the 12th round, so pretty much zoo needed a KO to win but i could see zoo winning on a scorecard. To my surprise hatton was walking through some of zoo's best counter punches, what is this kids head made out of, i thought that was amazing. The only real problem i had was that **** ref, that guys seriously needs to get fired, zoo's body shot was right on the beltline and should have counted as a knock down, and hatton's clearly intentional low blow should have costed him a point. Too much holding on both sides, if they fought here i doubt that much holding would've been allowed. Now on zoo's desicion for quiting. I am kindof dissapointed in him but i clearly though he had no chance of winning. IMO hatton was fighting with 80% steam left in him and zoo with 50% left, i don't think, with the way hatton was fighting, that zoo would have hit hatton hjard enough to KO him, he was taking some big shots from zoo and kept coming. Zoo was gatting hurt, he suffered a seriouse low blow and all that fighting on the ropes tired him out. You can say that hatton fought the perfect fight to beat zoo. Too bad zoo quite but it takes a true man to know when he's had enough, and i was glad zoo wasn't going to risk any further injury, b/c hatton had so much steam left i would not like to see zoo on his back. In reality, which for guys would want to go 12 rounds with "Hitman" Hatton. With that said how gracious in defeat was zoo? I mean can you be anymore of a gentleman, mad respect to zoo, and mad respect to hatton, he deff gained a fan in me with this fight. Taking the mike and thanking his fans and expresing his respect to zoo should deff worth praise. Zoo admits he lost to the better fighter and like any sportsman, like myself, thats really hard to do. Props to both fighter for one tough fight.

Now with all that said, what do you guys think Zoo should do, if you were his managment would you advise Zoo to retire or go for a rematch, or get a tune up fight before his rematch. I for one believe Zoo is not done yet, i think he should get a couple of fights and then try to go for a rematch with Hatton, if Hatton still has his title ofcourse. I beleive with a diff game plan, zoo is able to beat hatton in a rematch. What do you guys think?
(And please not haters or insulting one another, i just wanna get your feed back, and if you don't like something that i posted keep it to yourself b/c i won't bother arguing with you)

I think Kostya will now fade off into retirement from the ring, he's seems pretty content being with his wife and family. I think he's mentally ready to hang up his gloves for good.

Damn, what a single fight can make to a fighter's career. Tszyu was regarded as one of P4P best and believed to be indestructible until his 40's because of his work ethics. One fight later, some people all calling for his retirement. "A fighter is only as good as his last fight" - very TRUE!

I think he should make his last hurrah, fight DLH or a rematch with Judah, then avenge his loss to Hatton and call it quits.

That sounds like a good plan.

I'd like to see, and expect to see, Zoo in the ring again. Hatton's style was perfect for beating Zoo, while Zoo's style is perfect for beating ther tops guys at this weight. Zoo's not over yet, he's just gonna' take some time and then choose a boxer, instead of a brawler. Zoo prefers to be the brawler in the ring, but Ricky stole that role last Sat night.

I also saw the fight 6-5 for Hatton heading to the 12th. I liked the fight, but don't like much seeing a guy pushing with his head as much as Hatton does. That **** should get a warning, another warning and then a deduction. Simple.

Tszyu is still a talent to reckon with in his division. Name me a fighter who you think can beat him. Zab? was it just a lucky punch? There are so many options for him right there. Just let him heal and look for a big time fight next time. Maybe hoya or PBF or gatti or a patsy... anybody in his division. Man, he isn't washed up yet. Am waiting for his ressurection.

The only thing Kostya was missing that he really badly needed to put himself in a much better position to win that fight was a hard, stiff jab to keep Ricky from getting inside over and over and over again. He couldn't time him coming in with his right, so the only thing he could've used to keep him outside is his jab, and he's never had a strong one, and he's never used the one he does have often. Hatton actually has the jab that Kostya needed to win that fight. If a rematch takes place, look for Kostya Tszyu to come into the ring with a brand new tool: A nasty, neck-snapping, nose-crunching jab, used with great frequency, accuracy, and to great effect.
