Ah well, the 'farewell boxing' open letter will pale in comparison when you decide to hang up your keyboard and engage in your last online war. I believe a 7-page opus is in the pipeline for that momentous event!

Best of luck, Jamie, as you've given the British boxing public some wiggity wars during your time in the sport.

You obviously didn't see his fights against Rhodes and Macklin; two of the best fights inside a British ring in the last decade.

Jamie Moore was a true warrior who may not have been world class, but was damn close. He left everything in the ring for our viewing pleasure. Have a happy retirement Jamie.

Best of luck to him. He has provided some brilliant entertainment down the years. Its a bit dissapointing to read comments like,"Its only Jamie Moore". Boxing is a huge sport and it reaches way beyond the superstar namess and PPV fighters.

Boxers like Jamie Moore and others who fight at domestic level for regional or national titles,in small venues and more often than not for very little money are the lifeblood of the sport and without them boxing would stand little chance of existing. I appreciate their contribution to boxing as much as I do the marquee fighters.
