If PAC does this it doesn't stick it to floyd. IMO it would drastically hurt his ability to sell fights in the u.s. If he takes test and is clean and beats yuri foreman or berto then big f_ckin deal. The thing is manny got where he is in part because floyd retired. yes manny still had to win but if floyd doesn't retire he is still p4p #1 in almost all rankings IMO. God forbid if he fails the test (which I don't think he would).

Manny may not need floyd to make his fans feel better about him. he may not need floyd to make 7 figures. But he needs to beat floyd because REAL BOXING fans, whether they like or hate floyd because of the way he chooses to market himself and his fights, know that Floyd is a superior boxer. The science of boxing has caused problems many a big puncher, Tyson (holyfield and douglas) foreman (ali) duran (leonard) chavez (pernell and meldrick even though chavez "won" both). I like floyd. he may come off as an a$$hole but dude is always in shape and always knows his opponents tendencies. He may not ACT professional before and after the fight, but he does his thing in the ring. As a big boxing fan, I want to see floyds skills against manny 's power. If manny bails (and I don't blame anyone but BOB ARUM for the fight not happening) I think it taints him.
