Floyd was forcing that Pacquiao would be tested inside 1 day to the fight and Floyd s father said he definetly wants Pacquiao s blood.

5 tubes of blood in less then 24 hours to the fight is insane.

He wasn't forcing anything....the USADA test whenever they want......the USADA does not serve at the pleasure of anyone.....the opposite is in fact true.....they could test Floyd on game day and not Pac.

Either way it's no big deal..................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems un-necessary, the potential for these OST guys to be waiting in Shane or Floyd's dressing room just before the fight if this is the case.

I mean if it was a 24 hour cut off I see no issue even if they took a couple of those tubes out the day before as blood cells regenerate fast and probably faster on special athletes like these two as I would think just about everything works better on them than it does average ppl.

At the end of the day I just want to see the best Floyd and the best Shane that can possibly perform in that ring and same day test may hinder that.

The thing is they were willing to compromise on their own principles and allow a 14 day cut off just so they could get a foot in the door in boxing.......so they could get the ball rolling, so to speak. If boxing was to outsource PED testing to WADA or USADA i'm sure they would have no problem with a 24hr cut-off.

The thing to remember is that WADA tested Lance Armstrong something like 90 times in 2 months and in btw stages at Tour de Farce...........he still won.
In his words it's annoying to be singled out and tested....but if that's what i have to do to show everyone i am clean.....so be it.

None. They can get blood up to the night of the fight. at least that's what i read.

Both men go through these tests, it's no more than they can handle if they couldn't handle it they wouldn't sign up for it. If they don't ***** about it, why should we? It's good that these tests are done. They're a role model for future fighters. They get these blood tests rest an hour or two, drink some water and they're fine to go. They aren't fragile little girls, they're top athletes.
