Exposing hypocrisy: Which is worst, a confession to cheating or an assumption/attempt

I'm just curious as to which one is worst in your eyes; Cheating and actually confessing or an assumption and an attempt to cheat? Maybe both are bad, but according to the boxing world its the difference between one being label as the greatest fight since slice bread, and the other being considered a black eye/disgrace to the sport of boxing.

If someone mans up to their actions and takes atleast some blame the public is forgiving. Especially over the course of years aslong as the person stays contrite and keeps on the straight and narrow.

If someone shows no remorse for their actions and takes no responsibility for their actions the public is very unlikely to forgive someone like that and will find ways to hate them even beyond their original crime.

I already responded in the other thread but I will say it again.

SSM manned up and took responsibility for his actions.

Margacheatto continues to blame everybody but himself. Makes lame excuses and acts like he is completely innocent.

People just want you to show a little remorse to be forgiven.

Man I love Shane, but no he didn't. He said he had no idea he was doing anything wrong, which is a lie. HGH & EPO in it's chemical form can only be giving to the athlete via injection. So you mean to tell me Shane didn't know something was fishing when someone can up to him with a needle trying to inject him with something.

Man I actually feel bad typing that cuz I like Shane a lot but the truth is the truth.
