  • Did Paul Williams not train good for the first Quintana fight?

I think he was more concerned about his hair then he was about Quintana. I also think it was a lesson for him to never look past an opponent and train hard for every fight.

He had a "PLaster Hangover"...This is common knowledge.

Him and his trainer admitted that. They overlooked Quintana and thought they would walk right through him. Since Q was a late substitute for Cintron. So much so that Paul had ZERO lefties in camp to spar with. Paul also looked fat in that fight.

For the rematch with Quintana , Collazo was his main sparring partner. And we seen what happened. None of this was Q's fault and he took care of business and beat Paul.

It is what it is. Doesn't matter how hard he trained. He lost. Maybe he didn't train hard, but he only has himself to blame

He honestly may have, Margacheato if he did have his plaster in that war with Paul Williams. Paul probably could have been less wanting to engage in the fight because of it.

Paul did what he had to do in the rematch and he gets full props, but I'm not convinced Paul can deal with a boxer who has great footwork.

                  I posted this earlier:

Paul Williams lost. He wasn't good enough to go 35 fights undefeated. He is still a beast though & well on his way to becoming 1 of the greats.
