I remember reading an article around the time of his death saying he was having problems since he hung up the gloves...

Think the article said he was having bad headaches and would have pain in certain parts of his body(think the neck)...

Maybe all of those rough fights started catching up with him...anyone know?

I do remember Arturo seeming to slur too...

Gatti was defintely on his way to being punch drunk.. retird or not he would have fougth again, its just a shame he died/was killed and we dont know by who.... Classic fighter RIP Gatti again!

there was an article on TheStar.com recently (search it up on TheStar.com). In the end of the article it said that the new autopsy that his family had done also concluded that Arturo Gatti hung himself.... Who knows what really happened.

IT was in a newspaper article referring to Arturo Gatti's death... but I think it applies to every boxer. I don't think any boxer comes out of Boxing in a perfect condition.... They have financial problems, medical problems, psychological problems, family problems, etc. (some might have a combination of these problems, some might have only one...). But in the end no Boxer comes out of Boxing the way he thought he would....
