i always laugh when people said cotto quit throwing the jab.

cotto was exchanging jabs against straights and hooks.

He countered JMM in his first fight a few times. Thats nothing new with Pac. Thats basic ass boxing. He shouldve known how to do that at 16.

I wont be able to see if hes improved until he fights a boxer who wont walk right at him.

And Cottos best punch is his left hook not his jab.
Paq didnt start boxing AT ALL until he was 16, what, he is supposed to learn how to counter a jab the first day? Manny Pacquiao did not have the LUXURY of growing up surrounded by proffessional fighters such as Jeff, Roger, and Floyd Mayweather Sr. Shut yo8r mouth and engage your mind. Mayweather was learning the basics of boxing when he was 3 years old, I have seen videos of him wearing boxing gloves when he was a toddler, he had a long amatuer career, and was given top notch tutoring on his subject matter his entire life. Paq dove headfirst into pro boxing at the age of 16 as a one handed knock out artist, and didnt get training on the fine points of the sweet science at all until he was about 25 years old. If he had grown up with the advantages of your punk-ass hero, he would likely be undefeated as well, but not nearly as spoiled, arrogant, and ignorant.

Proof for all *****s how much he's improved, I don't wanna hear about that Marquez fight any more.

Paq haters dont want to hear about the concept of self improvement, because their favorite fighter was given the best from the very beginning and Paq has earned his skills, and his standing in the sport today, the hard way.

sure he has improved---but you have to understand how many types of jabs there are out there and if you were trying to make a point about him vs floyd--then you're sadly misguided---cotto threw his jabs flat footed okay? remember that---floyd throws his jabs for the most part on his toes and he feints when he throws them---which is why he lands them so crisp---he threw them flat footed against jmm because he saw so many openings---but cotto's timing is so bad compared to floyd's---but pac has improved--no doubt--still won't help him when and if he fights floyd---he will be tagged all night---if clottey landed at will when he threw--throwing the type of punches he threw at pac--imagine what floyd will do--who is a much better puncher in terms of thrwoing much much more complex shots and having better stamina, better accuracy, better timing, better body positioning---it's already figured out how bad floyd will expose pac's flaws---just wait and see---cakewalk fight for floyd--i guarantee you---

that's right--judah is a better puncher than pac in terms of throwing punches technically which can catch floyd--and did at times---judah is a technician compared to pac--a much better boxer than manny---he fights on his toes more than manny does when he throws his punches sharp---manny bounes but then flurries in and out flat foooted for the most oart---manny bounces in an out mainly for movement, not punching--it's an improvement on manny's part, though--
