Alvarez appears on the HBO pay-per-view undercard on the Floyd Mayweather-Shane Mosley undercard on May 1. The opponent will be the once-beaten Jose Miguel Cotto (31-1-1, 23 KOs), older brother of two-division champion Miguel Cotto. [Click Here To Read More]

I am not expecting much from Canelo; I feel the Mexican media has been hyping him and Chavez Jr. way too much. There are far better Mexican prospects that have actually proven themselves. Plus, Mexican boxing isn't about undefeated records; it's about hungry fighters willing to die in the ring. I don't know, I just feel he is going to disappoint. I like the little guy, Rodrigo Guerrero, who fought Darchinyan recently; I think he'll be a world champion soon.

I've seen little of Canelo but he's a good prospect. Should be a good fight but Canelo got this

one thing tho; I don't generally trust much i nmexican records. They give way too many taxi drivers to their prospects to raise their records to look good. But he has plenty of talent
