I have mixed feelings about Oscar's "business decision" to move down to the welterweight division. Yes, it's a smart move in regards to prolonging ones dominance within a sport, but I was hoping to see him at least fight Hopkins again or Strum and Trinidad. Those names would bring him more money-(ok, maybe not the Strum fight)but the Trinidad or Hopkins rematch would be bigger money than let's say a Spinks or Judah match would.

The Trinidad's have already nixed the rematch with Oscar...Oscar has went above and beyond what 99.9% of fighters do too secure a rematch...there is nothing left he could have done to get Tito back in the ring. Apparently the Trinidad's feel that they beat OScar so bad the first time that a rematch is useless...here you have every fighter in the sport foaming at the mouth to get a piece of the Hoya lottery and the one guy that could turn the fight purse into the powerball lottery does not want to make the fight...this puzzles me why DON and FELIX won't take this fight-the money that could be made is absolutely ridiculous.

I think both Oscar and Tito are both to blame for the rematch not happening. Tito well actually Don King and Trinidad Sr. have said that in order for the rematch to take place Tito should get the bigger portion of the pot. Oscar and Bob Arum on the other tried to offer Trinidad next to nothing the way they did with Mosley. Mosley was dumb enough to go for that and you know Don King isn't going to let that happen to his cash cow especially since Tito does own a victory over Oscar.

I've heard Papa Trinidad say that for a rematch with DLH they want the same contract as in the 1st fight, but Tito getting the money that DLH got in the first fight and viceversa...And that DLH doesn't agree to dat...

I would love to see that do you know where I can find it??? Just recently Don Felix was saying that OScar did not deserve to fight Tito, he said they would never fight again. If the Trinidads really wanted this fight then they should make what you say above common knowledge to the entire boxing world, call Oscar out so too speak...maybe it is and I am missing something-but Oscar has lobbied for this fight and it has fallen on deaf ears...you may love Tito but for some wierd reason he is not interested in fighting HOYA again.

If they do fight the terms should be 50-50, Oscar is the bigger draw (not by alot)and Tito is coming off a big win(OScar is not)...translation 50-50. If Don Felix thinks they deserve more money then he is simply saying indirectly that they don't want the fight.

Ya I know, it all personal **** btw them, I think that it all started when DLH said in an interview b4 their fight that 10 millions where to much for a Puerto Rican...If you have a copy of the fight you can see that when Merchant is interviewing(?) Oscar and Tito after the fight Tito tells Oscar "Tell me know if I'm worth the 10 millions"...And Oscar didn't answer him.

The Trinidads have found excuses for not giving DLH a rematch. I don't think many are more deserviing of a rematch with a fighter than DLH against Trinidad. NO way DLH lost that fight. I can't even find a professional that thinks DLH lost.

It was on ********** before Tito retired. 50-50 would never work with them especially since Delahoya lost his last fight. I think they are trying to do what Oscar tries to do to everyone else.
