I couldn't stand his bitching. Suck it up. That **** kills me. Quintana was just fighting a regular fight. And that kd was legit.
He got the job done. Good win, but he was outboxed for most of it. So I'm not any more impressed than I was before. He still has a lot of vulnerabilities. Caballero was much more impressive by comparison.Comment

People don't like the way Berto fights since he grapplers alot, I can understand that opinion but most can't seperate their dislike for a style from how effective a fighter it fighting that way.
People have liked to **** on Berto for a while now though this really is not new, I gained respect for him after the Collazo fight. Before that fight I did not care for him but he showed something in that fight.
Against technical boxers who are able to really out range him he will most likely look like a fool but those guys tend to make a lot of fighters look like fools (and they don't grow on trees) also I do not think he can be effective over 147 as I think he has come to depend on being the stronger man in the ring. Against the very best in the sport (who happean to be the kings of 147) he would be a clear underdog but I think a lot of people sell him short because he fights in a manner they do not like.Comment

Also Quintana is not a top 5 147 pounder but outside the top three I doubt Berto would lose to any of them. Clottey would give him a fight but I think Berto is tougher and more determined, thus making Clottey find a way to lose. Margarito would be an interesting fight but he is kind of an unknown at this point I can see the merit in choosing either man.
Berto is fourth best at 147 and generally that is not somethign to write home about but is there really that much shame in being ranked below Pacquiao,Mayweather and Mosley.Comment
