How is Jr. WW more loaded than WW?

I've just been hearing everyone saying that the HBO crew were wrong for saying that WW is one of the (or the most ) loaded divisions.

I tend to think that both divisions are fairly even. (Although JR. WW has a better future with all the young guns)

    JR. WW Top Guys

    Bradley

    Alexander

    Khan

    Maidana

After this the picture gets muddled because Hatton isn't fighting any time soon, Malignaggi has never beaten a top 10 Jr. Welterweight.

    Welter Weight

    Pac

    Mayweather

    Mosely

    Cotto

    Berto

    Collazo

After this its basically Clottey and then the trio of Eastern Europeans (Zaveck etc.) So there's definitiley a drop off. But I still think that for at least the next two years it will have a sizeable advantage in overall talent of JR WW

Top WW are Mosley-Mayweather-Pacquiao. There is a drop off right below that consists of Berto,Clottey, and Colazzo. Cotto is currently not a WW.JWW has more good fighters than you listed. Just off the top of my head
Khan, Malignaggi, Maidana, Alexander, Bradley, Ortiz. I know I'm forgetting some.

JWW>WW. It's all about Shane, Pac, and PBF at 147. Clottey is a journeyman now. Berto's not yet elite, and neither is Collazo. Cotto is gone.

That's how you know a dude who doesn't watch boxing.
        JWW is way more loaded.

        Bradley
        Alexander
        Peterson
        Campbell
        Khan
        Maidana
        Judah
        Malignagi
        Ortiz
        Urango
        Hatton

And a bunch of other solid contenders.

I strongly doubt that Cotto is gone. He had been comfortably coming in at 146 against Clottey and Jennings. A win or loss against Foreman would probably lure him back down to WW possibly fighting Berto or Pac or Marg.

There is just no reason for Cotto to stay at JR Middle because Foreman is the only way he makes a paycheck. Its the whole New York Puerto Rican vs. Rabbi angle thats selling this one.

Putting Judah as a solid contender. Thats how you know a guy doesn't watch boxing.

So you saying Judah hasn't accomplished more than almost everybody on that list? The only guys that are a lock to beat him at 140lbs are Bradley and Alexander.

You missed a lot of JWWs. The division is definitely more loaded than WW. Its:

                Timothy Bradley
                Amir Khan
                Devon Alexander
                Victor Ortiz
                Marcos Maidana
                Paulie Malignaggi
                Juan Urango
Junior Witter (well Bradley and Alexander kinda ruined him)
                Lamont Peterson

And coming from LW soon, or soon to make a mark:

                Joan Guzman
                Edwin Valero
                Mike Alvarado
Kaizer Mabuza (weight drained or not, he SCHOOLED Kendall Holt)

And you said Paulie has never beaten a top 10? He did beat Lovemore N'Dou and Edner Cherry, and he gave Cotto a good run for his money and exposed his chin.

For some reason, about two years ago, the Welterweight division seemed stacked, but now it just seems kind of week outside of the 5 main fighters. Jr. Welterweight is stacked though.

Your right Judah has accomplished more than Bradley and Alexander. But so has Carmen Basilio but I'm not goin put him as a contender in 2010.
