true people just hate on Berto around here for no reason the kid is not ****y never herd him disrespect any opponent and never said he was the greatest I would never understand that one

his style is awful to watch and its the same vs southpaws or orthodox.
punch, fall in grab, wrestle. throw flurries, grab, wrestle, gas, hold to recover. throw bombs, wrestle.

he has all the tools to be much better than he is. i have no idea why he continues to make fights harder than they should be for him.

Paul Williams stopped Mitchell in 4 rounds. It took Floyd 6. What does it mean? Nothing at all.

Cotto stopped Judah, Sosa and Corley. Floyd had decisions with all 3.

What does it mean? Nothing. I expect that from Akyra, Talisayen, Lil Bro or Peyk Peyk not you.

No one craps on Williams. There's nothing to crap on. Dude is what he is....he comes to fight hard for 36 minutes, great activity, decent power and kind of limited in the skill department. But either way, Paul comes to fight. Gotta respect that.

Berto on the other hand.....its the way he fights. Do you consider Urango slick, cause I don't. Berto looked like a shook child against Urango.

Well I don't know who does look good against them all the time, but I do know three fighters that have had trouble against "slick southpaws".

Collazo, Martinez, and CQ are all pretty good fighters. The only time I can remember Collazo not doing good was against Shane (Collazo also hurt his hand in that fight, he kept pace with Shane for about 9 rounds). CQ got put to sleep in 1 round, and was only really good for about 3 or 4 rounds lastnight.

Martinez though, I have to agree with you, he is trouble for anybody...

No hate from me, I’m honest and will admit I was rooting for Quintana but the best man won in Berto hands down and no excuses.

Personally, I think Berto needed this performance with his TKO victory there were (and still are) too many Naysayers…
