So again Berto is the next best fighter in boxings most popular division it makes sense for him to be on HBO.

Where were these people when Rocky Juraez is on PPV every month.
Cotto beat Mosley who would destroy Berto soo.. and he also beat Clottey with a disgusting cut. If he beats Foreman he is still > Berto

The thing with Berto he needs a better trainer. He is really not ready for the top elite fighters. If he fight Cotto, Pac, Shane, Floyd he will lose. I even think if Margarito has anything left he could beat Berto. I thnk Berto could possibly beat Clottey but I think he will go life and death with him, I think he would have to dig deep and win the championship rounds to get a decision over Clottey. I think he will have a hard time with Collazo again.

Berto defense defense is not that good, He gets hit way too much, and he can't afford to get hit that much because his chin is not that good. and his offense is also overrated IMO. He is not a good inside fighter, his footwork needs work. And, I think is time he gets a trainer that can help him with this. I think Floyd Sr would be the perfect trainer that could help him with his flaws. He needs to develop, and it has to be soon cuz he will have to step up against elite/top fighters and he might get ruined if he doesn't get better.

What's so exciting about Berto? His unbelievably weak-for-his-physique power? The guy is an underachiever. He'll be begging for Friday Night Fights as soon as he gets matched up with anyone better than Luis Collazo.

Berto initiated plenty of clinches, and did nothing but complain...I wasted my time watching that crappy fight, I even was up looking for something to eat when it got stopped...I was bored, I mean BORED....Larry holmes is more entertaining than Berto...

You can find him boring and not like teh way he fights that is fine, but he is a pretty good fighter. To claim he ducked Mosley is pretty out ther also~.

Why do you care who I support for whatever reason~

People hating on Berto after he fought slick southpaws in a row.

                  Dumbasses.

Call me when Pac fights someone slick.

I have to go I will respond to this later, but I will say my main issue with discussing fighters with most people on this site is that they can not seperate how a guy fights from his actual ability, meaning if they do not like the way a guy fights (with Berto I can feel that) he is not that good.

He's boring, lacks one punch KO power, and is a lying, pretending punk who ducked Mosely with Haiti, I don't care what ANYONE says. If you are Haitian and offended, then how come he never talks about anyones names, etc. He conveinently pulled out before fighting the toughest mother there is pretty much. I'm not being insensitive. I'm being non knieve, if you think he seriously pulled out of that fight for personal reasons you need your cap twisted backwards for you. They (HBO) are making the same kind of mistake they made with JTaylor, but JT was a gold medalist and they never knew he'd get cannoned with that Hopkins cross at the end of their first match and changed forever with that single punch....
Thats not fair, say what you want about the kid, but he does have heart. He showed that to the world against Collazo.
