And Shane would make that pretty easy to do even if he KO'ed Berto, because he struggles against speedsters.

That would be cruel, because hundreds of thousands of lives were taken. You know that's not true, so stop saying it.
I'm an excellent judge of character. I can spot a liar like Berto a mile away.

I'm not buying anything he says. He didn't act like a "devastated" guy from the beginning. The whole thing is an act.

Dorian, you are too good a poster and way too smart to be a fan of Berto.

I expect the dumber contingent of NSB to like him, but not you.
If you are not a fan of his or don't like him, it's ok that's your opinion and your entitled to it. I just don't like how many picked Carlos to stop Berto late, Berto wins by tko and then they come on here and clown Berto for no reason like their mad that their prediction was off.

If he was so scared then why did he sign the contract? You can't pull out of fights for no reason, and there's no way he could have known the Earthquake was going to happen. His own sister was even missing at one point! They were so close to the fight before the Earthquake occurred. And there was no way he could have faked an injury because the training camps were dying down at that point. Trust me, he was not lying.

I'm willing to bet that if just one of your close family members died, you'd pull out of an amateur bout and if you didn't, you wouldn't be able to concentrate at all. Put yourself in Berto's shoes. Imagine what he's been through. There's no way anyone would be able to perform under those circumstances unless they were heartless.

I agree. That was very sad to see. The attendance was disappointing.

What's comical is Berto having a belt.

What's really frustrating is that he's explosive. He can be a very good exciting fighter. But instead he chooses to dry hump his opponents all night and then complain when things get rough.

Frustrating fighter. And I really don't think he's all that good.

Jan Zaveck has a belt and he's the biggest joke the WW division has ever produced. Heck, Miguel Cotto got his belt from Michael fricken Jennings. LOL

I had Quintana winning and im not dissing berto at all. Cong**** to Berto for the KO. Yea, he was bitchin and complaining alot but I think Quintanas punches werent doing too much to Berto anyway. Berto needs some target practice and then face a top WW. The ref was definitely being a **** but aside from that, who's he fighting next?
