I literally CAN NOT scroll down through an entire thread without my browser thing freezing up and i have to wait for it to unfreeze for like 2 minutes before being able to scroll down more.

Sometimes it freezes up completely and i have to restart the whole internet. The site is becoming unusable its so frustrating.

well that doesn't happen to me.. however, at times i can notice a small slowdown in the speed. when i'm downloading things and i notice it's not going at full speed... i see that i left a thread open with about 5 gif sigs loading.

not only that but i dislike them so what i did was just "right click> block image" with adblock. so i only see normal sigs, not animated ones.

well i just got my macbook pro about 2 weeks ago, and i AM having this problem so.... i dont understand why i would lie about my computer to people i dont even kno that are trying to help me. just wldnt make any sense

Are you using Safari? I used to have the same problem with this site on my mac running Safari. It has nothing to do with you internet connection, ram or your computer. It's a known issue with Safari.
