AA got his jaw broke and his ass kicked in the first fight with Miranda. I could care less what the cards said.

AA fought damaged goods in Taylor and would not have beaten the pre-Pavlik version of him.

Incidently, AA beat Miranda after he got destroyed worse by Pavlik prior to their rematch.

Abraham can only mike those victories so long...........too.

I can see this fight going two ways:

1). Martinez by a close decision

      or

      2). Pavlik by late KO.

Kelly was right that Martinez moves a lot and he wastes a lot of energy which makes him a bit tired in the later rounds. That's a dangerous time to be fatigued against a puncher, hence the late KO by Pavlik, who like others have pointed out, is a great finisher.

But if Martinez can fight smart for 12 whole rounds and doesn't try to be too macho going toe-to-toe, he can out-box kelly using lateral movement and a jab.

It's a tough call, I'm leaning towards Kelly by KO. Martinez has been hurt by lesser punchers then kelly, that's for sure.

With that said I put a little bit of money on martinez to win by UD. lmao I'm really torn on this fight, it's a pick 'em as far as I'm concerned.

This is a great fight, Martinez makes for a more interesting opponent than Williams.

That's why it's a good thing that Abraham has the Super Six to prove himself in. Pavlik on the other hand is fighting junior middleweights.

AA is a bit like Pavlik....too robotic and one dimensional........the best thing they could ever do is fight each other at 68.....the first rd would be a feel out rd and then it would be all out war until one of them gets KO'd.

Pav vs AA at 68.....i don't see that one going past rd 6

IMO Pavlik is in a lose lose situation. If he loses he is a "fraud". If he wins then he beat a "smaller" man.

i dont think so a lot of people are picking martinez to win and some say its going to be easy so if pavlik wins he should get credit from those people.

Isn't it the truth though, about Martinez being the smaller man? He has had only 1 fight at middleweight! And he lost that one depending on who you ask.

Martinez would be a better opponent than anyone else Pavlik could face. I'd certainly pick Martinez over Strum, if only for Strum's inactivity. Its been a while since we've had a middleweight fight of this level.
