i agree with champ. in fact, i don't see this fight lasting very long.

overall, caballero is just weak. his stance, punches, jab... juanma is an all around more solid fighter in every aspect. i can see a few left hooks of juanma softening caballero up fast and it's downhill from there on for stick boy.

yes, caballero is a fundamentally sound type of boxer. it's a style of fighting that any boxing fan can appreciate, as it is visually pleasing and looks impressive when in motion. constant jab, combination to the body, etc etc. i can see where you're coming from mark. however, it is executed in such a way that a fighter like juanma can easily overcome. the jab is not a solid, steady straight one... his style is awkward and his stance could be taken advantage of by a guy who moves around. not to mention his punches are some of the weakest i've seen in the division.

juanma is a fighter who in my opinion is stronger and who's work rate will not allow caballero to throw as constant as he did against robot stiff yordan last night. not to mention juanma has a solid inside game which caballero seems to lack. overall, i see juanma as the much more solid fighter.

but like you said... we can speculate all we want, thing is if juanma doesn't step inside the ring with him, i can't have these kind of debates anymore where i defend him.

I do not get why people are saying he has no power, those body shots were thudding by the 2nd rd there was a huge welp on the side of Yordan,he is not a one punch ko artist but at that weight there are not many of those.

De Leon throws 100 punches, and from all angles too, with a sorry ass defense just light Caba. Caba's height and reach makes him a bit more akward.
