Yes, Caballero landed alot on Yordan but you don't really have leverage on your punches when your backing up most of the damn fight. Funny, how Lampley is yelling this fight needs to be stopped when Yordan barely has a sc**** on his face let alone marks on his body from these so called brutal body shots he was receiving.

Emanuel Steward was the only one who had common sense, and basically told the other announcers to shut the **** up.

Being in the U.K I didnt catch the fight but I heard Caballero pretty much dominated all the way through. You are proberbly right though, Lampley talks out of his ass alot sometimes.

    But compared to Merchant.....

He dominated definitely, but he wasn't getting full leverage out of his punches. He was backing up constantly when he threw the majority of his shots. You definitely don't get full leverage from your punches moving backwards. Yordan also had a pretty solid defense so the punches weren't all getting through cleanly which is another reason Caballero punches had less affect.

Jeff Mayweather did good with Caballero, in the sense that Caballero easily controlled the fight and was winning rounds. And thats all that really matters in boxing to get to the next fight for a bigger pay-day.

You want to know what an ass whooping is? An ass whooping is what Estrada did last night to Lora. Because Loras defense was horrible and Estrada was coming forward throwing bombs. Thats an ass whooping and worthy stoppage by the ref. Estrada was getting full leverage from his punches, that Lora guy is probably punch-drunk now.

very true i watched that fight aswell that kid took a vicious beating

i disagree though that kid yordan was taking a beating and there was not a whole lot coming back from him he was basically following cabellero around and getting pummeled

i thought it was funny when Merchant sounding disgruntled and said

"I asked some guy with a commissioner's badge on why is he letting this massacre continue and he smiled at me and walked away" that **** was classic lol

they mentioned the guy that died fighting jesus chavez during that fight we have to remember that those announcers have called many fights and have seen some tragedies and want to avoid that happening again nothing wrong in that
