Jameel McCline, where does he go from here?

I just saw the rebroadcast of the Mccline-Brock fight on ESPN and though I wasn't entirely impressed by either fighter, I thought McCline could've won that fight had he been in shape.
In the post-fight interview, you could see a huge welt above his eye due to, I thought excessive headbutts by Brock. But McCline being as humble as he is,never complained once to the referee.During the fight, McCline had Brock in trouble several times and was able to knock him down once. The problem was IMO, that he was not in the best of shape and was worn out by the later rounds.

My question is; What is next for McCline? As being a big puncher with decent boxing skills couldn't he move up to the next level if he concentrated alittle more on conditioning? Lastly, how do you guys pit him against some of the other heavies in the division?

Mccline was a good fighter but he doesnt have enough in him to be a dominant factor in the division

He should consider retirement, he is a good heavtyweight but will never win a title.

McCline is far from a big puncher. In fact a lack of fight ending power is one of his weaknesses. If you are that big you'd better have a huge punch to keep the faster guys off of you, and Jameel doesn't. What he has is size, some skill, and a lot of strength.

Mcline sucks and he could have won that fight vs Byrd, All he needed was one more round.. and some people believe he got it.

If and when Tyson gets through Mcbride, I think that a fight with McCline would be to both fighters advantage. For McCline, it would be a huge pay-day because he's a top contender and Mike Tyson is well, Mike Tyson, a huge money earner in ppv boxing sales. For Tyson, a win over McCline would certainly earn him alot of money as well as putting him in contension for a title shot or against another top contender. It would also help his confidence a whole lot.

McCline should stick around for a lil while, try to sign with ballroom boxing like Rahman did, fight often and get another title shot, he should be able to beat ruiz, and maybe try again with bryd. He does have a good power, one of the few to put Bryd down.
