Floyd's tv personality is ****ing embarrassing. The people who like him must be the dumbest monkeys on the planet. The guy is so ****ing dumb. Plain and simple. AND THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND ALI IS THAT AFTER ALI TALKED **** ON HIS OPPONENTS HE GOT IN THE RING AND FOUGHT IN CLASSIC WARS WITH THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Ali fought all those classic wars and now he can't even hold a glass of water. Mayweather's personality belongs to him, if you don't like it so what. How does his behavior affect you in the least bit? A dumb person wouldn't know how to market themself the way Mayweather does. If Ali could do it all over again, I bet you he wouldn't have taken all that punishment in the ring. A dumb person would worry about how they look to people like you. Hey man I agree they are putting their lives on the line and should get paid.But in this sport it's also about how you are remembered so I'm not buying legacy is a thing of the past.That's like saying Kobe is playing only for the money get out of here.Bradley is fighting Maidana a stiff test.Devon will fight somebody else creditable so that when they meet it will be for big dollars.But does that mean legacy is not?

Its actually from both. Fighters back in the day didn't make that much money and not to mention how their greedy promoters ripped them off. Even guys like Mike Tyson made millions and Don King ripped him off. Tyson may have blown a lot of money but he was also ripped off by thieves. Its a combination of the 2.

Sugar Ray fouhgt in the golden era and he made a hell of a lot more money than the typical golden age fighter did. Respect is a very subjective word. Respect to me could mean something totally different to you. Mosley doesn't have as much money as you may think. If Mosley decided to walk away after this fight, he would be remembered as a great fighter. Mosley needs these big fights to help him live comfortable after that pocket draining divorce.
