True indeed my dude. PBF dont bite his tongue for nobody. He been calling Shane's name since Shane was a light-wt. I been watching these guys since they were at lighter weights,Shane just got a sense of urgency recently to wanna make this fight. All this goes out the window now. May1.Comment

Ali was a movement that was bigger then just Ali for the Black people. He repersented something.I don't think there was a black person who did not like Ali in those day's which is what he wanted. He did not want to be a white mans champion like he felt Joe was.Ali and May IMHO are very different May is out for himself which explains why he acts the way he does.Comment

ok lets rephrase it....u fans are dealing with nervous energy coz u knw ur girl will go down this may 1stLmao if you think its floyd dealing with nervous energy your funnnnny. Clearly Floyd is putting on his act that everyone loves to hate. All this buzz on the forums, on facebook, maybe on espn eventually, is exactly what Floyd wants!! He wants to generate new boxing fans to watch him in hopes of him getting his ass wooped. Its all an act.Comment

Great point's Chiefy as always you do not fail to make me think lol.I agree with you but we all know that in the skills department May is the more skilled fighter. The thing I think alot of people are sleeping on(Not saying you)is the work rate and aggression. The fact the Mosley will be able to punch threw his guard to that body. The main thing I worry about with Mosley is can he handle May's movement.I would not be surprise to see Mosley fall back in some rds to make May be the aggressor. He will have to do it all to beat May.What I see is being able to do it all an like many people on this site May sleeping on Mosley an thinking that he can't.When Bro ****m wa trying to hit him with the towel I like that Mosley was putting his gloves up not just tryin to use head movement he will have head movement but he will also need to put his hands up against May to make his way in.But the biggest thing I always felt would be the difference in this fight is the Calibur of fighter's they both were in with.May 1 cannot come fast enough for me big bro.But I think May's biggest weapon is his movement. His biggest weakness might be that he does not put punches together when he fight's a bigger guy(like the hoya fight)Mosley can and will out work him if he fells like he just gonna pop shot all night. He has to become the May of old the May.Whuts tha gotdamn deal Rome my man, aint chatted with you in a minute homie, how ya been? Yeah I just got through watching 24/7 again, and I DO see what you are refering to. There are a couple of workouts where Shane does get stramline with his punches, but they always end up reverting back a little too wide for my taste. Also when Brother ****m was working the towel and foam sticks with Shane you could see Shane stop to guard against it using his gloves to deflect or he would take half a step back and bounce up and down. Thats not good, not when you are training for Floyd who's defense is COMPLETLY intergrated into his offense(meaning he can switch from either one seemlessly).
Shane needs to be set to punch and he can't be set if he steps back(in a straight line) and bounces(for an example of this look at when they where working the foam next to the heavybag). If you look at when Floyd works the mitts you will see that he is always in a position to return fire, like when Roger taps his shoulder and arms, Floyd automatically flips to defense and the returns fire in one motion. This tells me that Floyd is not going to have as many problems as Shane because his offense and defense has him better suited to fight in the pocket more so than Shane as Floyd doesn't have to be set to punch(I didn't get that part(pocket) from watching 24/7, I got that from the years of watching Floyd train as he fights).
The part about this fight that is most intreging(sp) to me, is how will Floyd react to the swiftness of Shane's aggression. I'm not too focused on Shane's power for the most part because although Shane is a damn good puncher, he is not a devestating puncher, and needs more than one shot to get you outta there, the thing that concerns me in that aspect of Shane's game is that if he does have you in trouble he doesn't put a lot of different punches together, he spends more time than I think he needs to looking for a way to land the right hand rather than delivering a left with bad intentions on it. This is not to say that Shane can't a does not use his left(cause he does), but that he tends to use it solely to set up the right and he's not going to be able to put Floyd away if he gets him in trouble using one hand.
Shane does look good, and will give Floyd the fight of his life; but styles make fights and I think that Floyd's style coupled with his skill set, and ingrained defensive habits, will frustrate Shane in the middle rounds and take him to a place where Brother ****m will not beable to reach him to bring him back down to earth. This too is bad for Shane as Shane NEEDS his corner more so than Floyd does. But what have you seen from Floyd that you think Shane can capitolize off of, cause I'm not seeing very much.Comment
