They were ****ing horrible tonight, that Caberallo boxer threw 1,300 punches and landed a **** load of them and still I didn't see swet fly off Yordans face and Yordans face wasn't even that beaten up. Caberallo seemed like he was pushing alot of his punches. Yet, HBO kept saying how Yordan is going to have to be rushed to the hospital because a pillow puncher that punches like Paulie Malignaggi tagged him all night.

Someone has to teach the ******ed announcers of HBO that you don't have that much force behind your punches when your opponent has you backing up. Thats why alot of Caberallo's punches were forced and not alot of pop behind them. I mean people talk **** about Calzaghe, except atleast Lacy and Kesslers face were swollen completely after he got done with them. And Calzaghe has broken ****ing hands.

Merchant needs to retire and Lampley's nuthugging of the HBO promoted fighter is painful to listen to.

perhaps they weren't at their best tonight... but then again neither was the event.

hbo broadcast is still high quality in my honest opinion and shines when it matters - in mega fights. i really like it and a ppv event isn't the same without the hbo team.

they were making it seem as if yordan was getting killed in there.yet he was landing hard shots every once in a while.they are getting to the point where they will say anything to make a fight or fighter seem interesting.

A completely new team (excluding Lederman) with occasional appearances by Larry Merchant and Lennox Lewis would suit me just fine.

If Paulie wins in May, though, they need to sit Lennox down and teach him how to pronounce "Malignaggi".

Yes they were horrible. During Clottey-Pacquiao, Lampley led a crusade against covering up and defending yourself against non-stop activity workrate fighter. Now in this fight Yordan can't do what Clottey did and Caballero was punching like **** anyway and they're obsessed about stopping the fight.

I was suprised though that Larry Merchant jumped on the bandwagon, he is usually known for being a sturdy old ****er who doesn't like fights getting stopped.

they were kinda obvious with their favoritism tonight. they show slow motion replays and talk about one fighter and almost completely ignore the other fighter. they weren't exactly enthusiastic tonight either.
