In January 2001, when Zab Judah, the International Boxing Federation’s undefeated junior welterweight champion, was being booed for a lackluster performance in his title defense against Reggie Green at a Connecticut casino, Mercante told Judah, “Let’s pick it up.”

Judah unleashed a flurry of punches in the next round, stopping his opponent.

Give the people a fight, already. Gotta love that mentality.

yea his last fight was the Ricardo Lopez's last fight back in Sept 01 (Think it was the co-feature to Hopkins-Trinidad)

He was a legend in the game RIP

He also did a fight with Jones which was also very late in his career and you can tell that he was still active as he told the fighters to stop the talking as they trashed talked.
