Hatton still not at his best

I just watched the fight and i have to say i didnt think Hatton fought as well as he could have.

He was very strong and applied unrelenting pressure, but he didnt get his body punches working as much as he normally does (credit to Tzsyu) and he was wild with many of his punches, missing and leaving himself open. He came in too straight and didnt use his jab enough.

I always remember the Eamon Magee fight, where he was knocked down with one big shot, i believe Tzsyu could also have knocked him out, even in the last round. But all credit to OUR RICKY, he's exciting as hell!

Also does anyone know the offical score cards?? I thought it was pretty even when it was stopped.

Hatton was getting picked off from the distance with quick left hooks and right hands. Had he jabbed with KT he would have been eaten alive. That smothering plan was perfect and very well executed. You can see KT trying to get some distance but couldn't. His right was also neutralized for the most part and all the wrestling and shoving early on took A LOT out of him, much more than the body punches that Ricky landed. Tszyu's lack of activity showed all too much.

Smart fight by Hatton, but that low blow was duurteh lol. I don't know why KT didn't come out for the 12th though, but maybe he figured since the fight was close he knew he had no chance of winning a decision in Manchester. Oh yah, the biased commentary was hilarious. Trying to be neutral but it was too obvious ahahaahaha

umm i think zoo is not at his best either , youth factor is also the key for hatton , if only zoo has enough stamina and youth in his body .. oh well that's boxing

I agree Hatton did a ton of clinching he could have fought alot better and his punch delivery was off balance.

Hatton still hasn't hit his prime yet...he could have fought better against TSzyu...it worked though

i haven't seen the fight yet, i'll get back to y'all when i do - hey, it won't be shown on tsn for a couple of weeks, but if Tszyu picked this fight to get old, then all u're hopes on hatton may be a little premature. i'd like to see him in against a prime elite guy, like mayweather ( like that will ever happen ).

Hatton's fight against Magee was a test, especially with the knock down...but it may be a bit premature to think that he will rule the 140 lb division....I like him though...he's a good representative for boxing and his style makes for good fights.

Tszyu didnt get old overnight, he was outworked and simply lost to Hatton. I'd still go with KT if they have a rematch however, as long as it isnt in Hatton's back yard. Vegas would be nice, neutral ground. I still laugh out loud when I watch the fight and see Hatton spin KT around and punch him in the back of his head. Just how it wasnt quick so the ref couldnt see. Hatton took his time spinning KT around and just threw a ****in hook at the back of his head. Unbelievable. Just for the Brit fanatics, once again: i am not taking away from Hatton's win, he did what he had to do. Good for him.
