As far as this poster goes, Cupocity303 approves of Hopkins's cherrypicking because well..... he is 46 years old with credentials and as a part-time fighter is entitled to cherrypick who he wants and when he wants it.

He is not holding Dawson back or any other active light-heavyweight in any way shape or form, Hopkins isn't the Ring Magazine champ or any champ. Dawson is the champion.

So what? Don't watch him then, a 46 year old future hall of famer is past the point where he has to entertain crowds for a living. That's the job of the young gunners and those who know how to take a beating in a slugfest like Vasquez, Marquez and the likes.
