miranda is the mayorga of the 168 lbs division, true or false?

It would be nice to see Miranda finally win a significant fight, but after all these years, he always loses to the A-class fighters that I thought he could beat. He just can't get over the hump...

Miranda is getting outbox and probably stopped in the later rounds, If Miranda happens to win then maybe he can fight Hopkins who back in 2006 anoint miranda as the one to take over from him instead of Taylor who he lost to.

The hype is, that when you're in their with an opponent who throws fast punches its hard to see whats coming next. I dare you to step in the ring against Bute, it would take him less then a second to finish you. You wouldn't even see the punch coming, thats how fast and talented boxers are.

I could see you saying he is a hype-job if he didn't show good footwork and speed. But he even shows more then that, he shows good footwork, speed, and power.

Miranda faltered in all of his big tests, sans the 1st AA fight. This guy ain't beating Bute. I thought he'd at least get a belt before, but by now I think he's nothing but a journeyman.

Bute is a great fighter. If Goossen didnt make some good changes than only a lucky punch is gonna win this fight for Miranda. I think after 10 months under Goossen we are going to see something very different. Still the same heart, aggression and power, but with a game plan and skills.

Bute should win this and and if he wants to be considered one of the best at 168 it should be by knockout. I still think his chin might be a bit shaky and therefore give Miranda a punchers chance. Hopefully Bute and Pavlik both impress and it sets the stage for a very big fight between the two of them.

I expect a similar performance to the one he put together against Fulgencio. Bute's body punching has been a great weapon lately. I would like to see another body punch ko, that would be sweet.
