Home-field advantage has not been that decisive. All fights have been won on home turf, but only Froch had home cooking.

AA ****ed up his chance of a late ko against Dirrell, and Ward ****ed up Kessler period. The fighters away from home have all performed to the best of their ability, and would have lost those same bouts even at home.

Kessler would beat Froch in Nottingham anyway. Can't wait. I would add that I would have liked this fight to take place in Nottingham to see Carl's supporters faces when they would have witnessed him getting KTFO.
Yeah. I suppose completely new surroundings, facilities, gym, food, jetlag, away from family/friends has no meaning whatsoever. You're right. It's utter BS.

i still like kessler to win the whole thing, i feel like he would beat ward in a rematch i dont know why i just do he seemed so out of his zone last time against him and the headbuts whilst unintentional were still brutal and did some major damage

This will be the first time Froch will really feel out of his comfort zone. Kessler has a whole country backing him, and Froch will feel this when he is there.

The US fans at the Taylor fight didn't make themselves known, Herning will be a whole new story. Just like Froch feels Nottingham is his fortress.....Kessler has a country behind him. Gonna be tough.

I doubt Froch would be underestimating Kessler but i think Froch wins this, I see kessler doing or fighting Froch the same way Pascal did and that would suit Froch to a tee.

A cry baby would be affected by such things.

                  Professional fighters shouldn't.

But come to think of it, it is true that Kessler is a bit of a cry baby, no matter how tough he looks with his viking tatoos.

You think Kessler can win? I think Froch is much more confident at this point. I fear that if Kessler doesn't have the pop to make Froch hesitate to throw the wide ass punches he does, then it's going to be Froch's night to win.
