Say what you want about him, but he made Eubank feel these all the way down to his ancestors.
Prime Calzaghe was a machine

Calzaghe could hit quite hard when he wanted to. He was a sharpshooter too. It's just as his career advanced to it's end he glazed to be more of an arm puncher to keep that workrate high and upComment

His power didn't change; just the quality of opposition. I think people are thrown off by the fact that he couldn't stop Jones. Calzaghe was never a one-punch KO artist but he had decent pop in both hands. He hurt Kessler quite a bit downstairs and beat the crap out of Lacy - there was power in those shots.Comment

Calzaghe is one of my favorite fighters of all time.

Ashame about his hand-problems though, you could tell that in his earlier fights he threw crisper shots. In his later fights he throws alot more slaps. I think he is in pain when he throws punches because he throws his punches much weirder looking in his career.Comment
