The official challenger to the European heavyweight title, Alexander Dimitrenko, is already calling for his shot at the new champion, Audley Harrison. Dimitrenko (29-1, 19KOs) watched on the internet as Harrison (27-4, 20 KOs) knocked out Michael Sprott (32-15, 17 KOs) in the twelfth round to win the vacant Euro title at Alexandra Palace in London. Does Dimitrenko have resistance questions? Eddie Chambers did smack the hell out of Dimitrenko and I think even hurt Dimitrenko in that fight. I actually wonder how good Dimitrenko really is...Comment

Awesome. If Harrison wins this somehow we'll see Harrison call out Haye. LOL!!
And Haye will be more than happy to make millions decapitating a chinny 38 year old bum like Harrison on UK PPV. The Brits will celebrate their hero ATG HW Haye and everyone is happy .Last edited by maverock; 04-10-2010, 01:30 PM.Comment

It only takes one punch to change a fight especially in the heavyweight division, how good is Alexanders punch resistance? I think we have more questions about his punch resistance after Eddie Chambers man-handled him. That was the most I ever seen Eddie fight so aggressive because he walked right through Dimitrenko and even had him hurt.Comment

You are right, but on the other hand while Dimi had a lot of problems with Chambers, Audley had a lot of problems with Sprott (a journeyman) and Rogan (tough guy, but not too skilled).
If Audley was going to make something special of his career I think he would've done it by now, and he wouldn't have needed a last round KO to beat someone like Sprott.
I think Dimitrenko was overrated before his loss to Chambers, but he's probably a level or two above Audley.Comment
