A not so prime Hopkins, not so much.

Depends which BHOP shows up, one that wants to be active and fight smart. Or one who doesn't want to do anything and just clinch and headbutt.

In one case, he could be active and let his hands go and he'd get countered which is probably the reason we get clinch-fest and headbutts in some of his fights against better fighters like Roy, Calzaghe, and Wright.

I enjoy any top fighter fight if they're effective with it, I.E. The Klitschko Brothers.

Not everybody is meant to be a fan friendly fighter. If he's not your cup of tea, oh well.

Of course I do. I enjoy the defensive part of boxing so Mayweather, Hopkins, Klitschko's, are said to be in boring fights but I actually love to see those guys outbox their opponents.

Before, yes.

In more recent years, since 2004, different story. Since then, I liked certain fights in spots (Tarver, Pavlik, Ornelas). The Wright fight was awful, Jones rematch terrible, Taylor fights lacked action, Calzaghe fight was really ugly.

When i have trouble sleeping I just pop in Hopkins vs Winky, that'll put anyone to sleep. Sitting through most of Bernards fight is like punishing yourself, I don't know how anyone can watch Soapy's fights.

Exactly. He is very skilled and I enjoy watching him. I don't enjoy the fouls...
