Lets be real about May 1st!!

Ok I dont want to be the guy that says Mosley is old and then doesnt give Mayweather his credit. Mosley is coming off a pretty impressive/bad ass win.

But this is the question that looms over my Head. How much does Mosley have left. yes he is coming off a pretty impressive/badass performance against margarito. I say badass because Margarito was pretty badass. I cant hate on the guy for beating my fellow rican Cotto. Cotto took the challenge knowing what the worst outcome was and it happened.

Mosley is IMO an ATG , and sure FHOF.

But too beat Mayweather u have to be on ur very best game. And I know he will come at his best. But at this point of his career I think his best might not be enought.

I think that his legs are going to be the difference. I think his legs dont have the same bounce as they use to. I think that as of today Mosley has less chances of beating Mayweather. And trust me guys , Ive been called a ******* just because I express my feelings towards Floyd , and I am in no way a *******. I want to see this guy go down as much as anybody in the business. I want to see his face when that "0" dessapears.

But lets be real. What are Mosley's chances of beating a guy with so much reflexes , so sharp with his defense and offense. He doesnt sacrifice much at all.

Mayweather is a magician in the ring. It is a priviledge watching Mayweather
execute the art of boxing as he does it.

If you ask me Mosley will need to press this guy to the max , he needs to make this an all out brawl. And then if he has any chance at all , we have to count on Mayweather not countering effectively as he does. because if mayweather can establish himself in this fight as a counter-puncher then what are the chances really.

At this point I believe Mayweather is more complete.(And mayweather is pretty ****ing good just the way he is)
At this point I believe Mosley's legs will not let him get into the fight rythm he needs to get in.

yes he beat Margarito. But!! He did not have to outbox Marg , he didnt have to chase him either. Marg comes straight forward. Mayweather doesnt. At least until he sees he can control the fight in every aspect. Mosley was willing to trade with Marg. And it turned out Mosley had the speed+power combo to just outclass Margarito al the way.

I want to see Mosley put on a show and win in spectacular fashion , but as the fight nears , and as I watch more of his fights , it is obvious to mee that his legs are not the same . Yes he has speed , yes he still got that power , But his bounce at this point will not be enough to step in with Mayweather , and not fight Mayweatehrs fight.

    Thats my take.

Hopefully dude , hopefully. This fight interest me so much more tha Floyd-Pac.

If Mosley can pull it off. I think Pac will get so much hate. Why if a proven cheater , that admitted on taking PED's can take random test and Pac that claims to not even now what they are cant. Its all fishy to me man.

Besides the slow, plodding Margarito, Shane hasn't had a great win at WW in about 6 years. He doesn't even have a puncher's chance in this one because Floyd has the best defense in the game. If he couldn't beat Cotto over 2 years ago, he's not going to beat Floyd now, and the almost year and a half inactivity will make matters even worse. At least Shane gets to cash in one last time before retiring.

I agree with every word of this. It would be awesome to see Shane pull this off, but I give him almost no chance.

To be honest, we all know Floyd is the boxer with the best defense today.. Mosley is a somewhat powerful puncher, I just don't see him catching Floyd and making him fight on his premises.. I hope that Shane beats him, hands it to Floyd.. But I sincerely doubt it.

Cotto got destroyed by Marg and people hype Pacs win.

Floyd beating Mosley is a legit win.

Floyd will never allow Mosley that "puncher's chance." I've seen a lot of fights and waited for it in many of them. Before you know it, you're watching the last quarter of the fight and nothing happens. The last bell rings and every opportunity is gone. There wasn't even one in the first place.

Mosley needs to do some psychological tactics on this one. Show disrespect, taunt him, stick his tongue out every few seconds, talk disparagingly while jabbing, etc. Anything that would annoy PB and force him to engage, which is Mosley's only chance.
