The current version of Winky Wright can beat Cotto right now. Cotto would be a good tune up fight for James Kirkland if he got out of jail. It's not so much that I think Cotto is toast and Margarito and Pac needed to cheat to beat him. He was just never that good to begin with. Always had the same flaws that he had in his younger days. Eats uppercuts like bell peppers, 6 round stamina against guys who pressure him, only effective when going forward. These are all characteristics that best describe Cotto.
