Floyd has also said "size doesn't win fights, skills win fights" before too... so yeah. But I don't think Manny handpicked Clottey at all, him and Floyd's negotiations fell through and Manny picked Clottey which was the best choice at the time he was looking for an opponent.

This goes two ways really, Floyd stans keep saying Manny picked Clottey and Manny stans keep saying Floyd handpicked Mosley because "hes a 39 year old inactive fighter", goes two ways, both of them are as bad as each other.

At the end of the day, neither have handpicked, the negotiations fell through... Manny had to find an opponent fast and Clottey was the best one at the time, after the fight had been signed Floyd was looking for an opponent and the Mosley vs Berto fight got cancelled, so Floyd went with Mosley because its the best choice out there.

i like manny, but lets be realistic here. manny campaigns at welterweight just like clottey, so your point is moot. also, clottey was coming off a lost before he fought manny last month. as i said, i like manny, but lets keep things in the proper perspective.

Clottey weighing in 160+=BIG man. There is nothing you say that can take away the fact that Manny dominated or put fear into a BIGGER man. Fraud would have never in a million years taken a fight with Clottey. Forget the fact that CLottey isn't a draw blah blah. Fraud just wouldn't have the balls to step in the ring with him. Manny doesn't care who he fights. He leaves it up to his promoters and he goes on about his life. Manny said once he doesn't even following boxing, he just fights. I'm sure he follows boxers of his interest whether it's his own fighters under his stable or a fighter he's about to fight, but he doesn't care besides that. What anyone says about him ducking someone would be news to him because he doesn't probably have any idea what's going on. He trains to fight, and fights anyone infront of him, period.
