nice thread, pretty sad that one of the only thread that actually talk about boxing has almost no post, and yeah Floyd's way to adapt to fighters is his main weapon imo.

Yeah I noticed that...maybe he jus got careless...he's gonna have to be careful with backing straight up into the ropes...Oscar got a lotta BS points thanks to it...Shane may try the same...

Are you guys talking about after the knockdown? or when he lands the right hand flush? I realized when Dominicano posted the vid and time I only saw him land the right, but after the knock down he caught Floyd with a hook and then a stiff jab, I truly wish Marquez had at least 3 fights at 140-147 so he could have been a bit more comfortable at that weight to see them both show off their skills, of course I think Floyd would still win >.> but maybe just maybe a tad bit more competitive.

Marquez made a HUGE mistake; one no one else is talking about. He entered the ring weighing 148+...I saw no point in that; he was never gonna put a hurting on Floyd. I really thought he'd enter the ring weighing 140-142.

I think so too, Marquez should have known he needed SPEED...to compete with Mayweather not power, if he would have came in lighter around 142-143...he would have probably been a bit faster.

It would have been that much more competitive. When Mayweather faught Oscar at 154, Mayweather weighed in at 150 and entered the ring at 148; he knew the speed would help him the most. Don't know what Marquez was thinking.
