    Floyds next fight after SSM

Assuming Floyd gets a win against SSM, and he likely will, I think he will skip Paq and call the winner of Berto-Quintana, which should be Berto. As much as I would like to see Floyd vs Paq, I just dont think it will happen, at least not this year because they are too far apart in the issues. I would actually give Floyd credit if he fought Berto, although anyone who has read my postings will know I am not a Floyd fan. If Berto wins against Quintana and looks real good doing it, that is the fighter other than Paq I would most like to see Floyd face after SSM.

        LOLLLLL

If Mayweather ever called out QUINTANA i'd lose all respect I ever had for him as a fighter.

He should fight a decent name at 154. Maybe Cotto or Cintron if he can get past Williams somehow.

I think he should either fight Berto or Margarito if they look good and if Pac doesnt pick them. The Margarito fight would probably be bigger but most likely Pac will fight him if Pac & Floyd dont meet

Cotto. Outside of Pac and Mosley, Cotto is still the biggest money fight and has the most meaning at this point in Floyd's career. Plus when you add Manny Steward into the mix it adds drama to the match up. Outside of Mayweather's themselves, no one has studying Floyd Mayweather Jr. as much as Manny. Remember when Manny predicted that Floyd was going to start throwing lead rights during the JMM fight and then lead right followed almost before he could finish the sentence. Hell, why do you think Manny's been trying to get his hands on Cotto for the longest.

Outside of a looking for a big payday.....there really isn't nothing out there for Floyd and I wouldn't be shocked if he retired. The thing about Floyd is that he needs a career defining win to place himself amongst the greats. Corrales, DLH, Hatton are good fighters but not ATG's. Pac was his one shot at that type of fight, and the sole reason for him coming out of retirement.

Yeah that surprised the heck out of me; he was on point. Don't agree with Mayweather facing Cotto, wouldn't look too good. I mean no offense but Cotto didn't give that good of an account of himself against Pacquiao.

Floyd against TR fighters have no chance of happening. So there's that. They would be no one else for Floyd to fight at 154, besides Williams, who's beating Cintron, and Martinez, who'll either had just won a middleweight belt (Though he certainly would come down for a Floyd paycheck), or coming off a loss . And most likely Floyd wouldn't fight those guys anyway. Which leaves a fight with most likely Berto, which I would hate to see. I think Berto needs 2 or 3 more fights with top quality welterweights after Quintana before fighting Floyd. So if Mayweather dominates Mosley to the point where a rematch is pointless, and a Pac fight doesn't work out, he doesn't have too many attractive options.
