But Cotto has to prove a lot in this fight. He has to prove he still got it. He has to prove he can fight in a new weight division and adjust in a new weight division , and he will be doing it all at once , which makes me proud of him.

He will be going up in weight. He will be taking on a champion. He is giving 4 inches in height , and prob 1-2 in reach , Cotto has fought at that weight. But IMO when u train to make a different weight , perhaps heavier , it can affect ut weapons in the battle field. Cotto might be a bit sluggish. He might be a bit slower. Who knows what the effects of making 154 will have on Cotto.

But he is up for the challenge!!! And he will not hide in a shell like Clottey ( I dont blame him) But Cotto will go for the win , Cotto will be swinging for a grand slam in Yankee stadium , and I love him for doing this!!!!
Dont worry about yuri not being the best at 154 because manny and floyd both fought guys who werent the best at there weights as they moved up!!!

Miguel Cotto has always been a warrior and will always be a warrior. He never backdown or duck any fighter. I hope he becomes a monster at 154lbs, i have a feeling that he will be reborn at that weight class and come back as the old Cotto that we all love.

I have a feeling Cotto is going to put on a great performance and i hope he does. Coming of a bad loss he has a lot of doubters now and having just lost his father and moving up in weight for a shot at the WBC belt he has more than enough motivation, not to mention having Manny in his corner, I definately think cotto has the strength and size to hang with alot of the top dogs at junior middleweight.

I'll bet you if he fought all those guys he would go 0-5. If Cotto beats this guy don't try to make the win out to be bigger than what it really is.
Ur prob right. But he is still a warrior. Foreman is a champion give the man his credit. just because he is not the outstanding of the bunch doesnt mean he is an easy opponent. He said he wants to get his career bac on track. And as it is his career is pretty impressive. So who is to say he wont face those guys. Thats why he is a warrior.

And by the way , Angulo is crap , another mexican fighter who sacrifices just to win. He got no talent. Its just chin and heart. And I am positive If Coto is 80 percent of what he was , he will make "el perro" kneel to his master

i think before the margo fight most people would have said he could beat most of these 5. cotto was the most feared man at welter aside from floyd, and williams was fighting at welter too.

remains to be seen how much the pacquiao fight took out of him. if he recovered well, he might win some of those fights on intelligence and guts alone.

regardless, i think he beats the crap out of foreman.
