Haye is a bum, he has an awful record, he hasn't KO anyone in ages, hes boring, he cant punch for sht. he would get knocked out by any top ten heavyweight. Thought id say that before the Klit huggers get in here.

I created the same thread right after Haye beat Ruiz. I agree with you 100%. Solis walks him down hard.

Posssibly that is an interesting fight but I am not to high on the Cuban Chris Arreola even if he has much more skill than his American counter part.

I hope that fight gets made actually.

Listen Haye-Solis would be a fight with both fighters landing bombs early on....Then as the fight went into the 6th/7th rounds Solis is gonna tire and Haye will KO him with those damn fast hands. Haye's got some real quick hands. IF CUBAN HERO SOLIS WEIGHED IN AT 230 HE'D WIN! But Solis won't weigh that, his weight prevents y'all from winning this argument and prevents him from winnin the fight.

If Haye had a 100% solid chin, i think people wouldn't doubt him so much. A lot of posters determine his downfall on his chin, which i think holds up fairly well at 220lbs.

Only problem for me is his defence and head movement (or lack thereof) if he can sort that, bobbing and weaving til the cows come home, i think, he'll do ok.

I don't think his chin is all that bad, I think its avrg though I guess having an avrg chin at Heavyweight is a bad thing when almost anyone at heavyweight can change a fight with one punch. I mean these are big boxers fighting. Its way different getting hit by a big-guy then it is a small one.

As far as I remember that fight Haye first managed to land a combination, I think a couple of one-twos, and in am's ref automatically starts to count a standing 8 count in these cases. So, ref counted Solis in the first, but Solis was not visibly stunned, althouogh I cant say he was not hurt. Then Solis proceeded to kick haye's ass.
