IDK if this has ever been brought up and I don't want to disrespect the puertorican posters here because I know of the puertorican vs mexico rivalry but i would have liked to see him train with nacho berenstein in mexico.

language is the same and time away from puertorico and all the distractions would have been great for him. plus, nacho knows his ****.

Cotto is one of my favourites, if he wins it will be sad when he retires, he said it would be he last fight. But if he wins and looks improved with Steward it would be a waste!

where did he say that? the only interview I saw with Cotto where he mentioned anything about retiring was a while ago (I beleive after the Pacquiao fight) and he said 2-3 more fights then possible retirement.

Do you think if Cotto wins and looks impressive. And, Margarito wins in May and July. That a rematch might happen at 154 by the end of the year?

Very doubtful. Cotto even said himself he would never give Margarito a big pay day.

Who can Cotto fight after the win? A rematch with Clottey?

Cotto and Margacheato should have an exhibition match between them. Of course Cotto gets to use the plaster this time. That would be fair right?
