Pavlik is as tall as anyone in the Super six. Mayweather would have to fight junior middleweights as a welterweight. So to ask a basically welter Mayweather to fight a Huge middleweight like Pavlik is to much. I'm sure plenty of fighters have been "Too big and strong" for Mayweather, but I seriously think Pavlik would be. He's good enough to beat top Junior Middles as a welter, but if Pavlik beats Martinez, it's very hard for me to see a victory for Mayweather.

Floyd would be too smart and too quick for Pavlik.

Martinez and Williams though, maybe he could give them a run, especially Williams who i credit for taking on anyone but feel he is a bit too much hype.
He doesn't have to come in weighing 160, he could weigh in the 150's and I think he'd do fine.

Would actually be more beneficial in my opinion rather than gaining unnecessary weight. Plus I think he's gotten a tad bigger since the DLH fight.

Good point, the extra weight Marquez had v Mayweather seemed to do more against Marquez then for him, and Pacquiao seems to always come in below the welterweight limit (keeping in mind the fight with Cotto was at a catchweight) and still perform, but i honestly think that 145 is just about where he must max out he has already put on so much weight, it makes me wonder what alex ariza and co. are feeding him

Not sure. he didn't look all that comfortable at 154 against Oscar, he put in a fairly lackluster performance, so I wouldn't be 100% confident in picking him at 160. That being said, I probably would pick Floyd to outbox Pavlik. It's not all that crazy of a thought -- I'm a Pacquiao fan, therefore, I've seen some pretty incredible stuff happen in boxing.

I agree, but he could possibly decision him. There are only two possible outcomes, either Floyd decisions him, or gets KO'd. Floyd can easily outbox Pavlik, but does Floyd have enough power to make Pavlik think twice about attacking, or does Pavlik just walk through all of Mayweathers punches?

Floyd should be Floyd on this one & not get caught. Simple as that... pbf in UD.
