I mean if they don't match the right amount of money that they can get in Oakland then I can understand why Ward would want to have another fight in Oakland. At the end of the day the truth is Ward-Dirrell could fill the Oracle. I'd bet thats at least $2 mil in gate. If you want to take the fight out of the Oracle then you're going to have to find $2 mil somewhere. It only makes sense.

Shaw obviously has to look out for Dirrell, but he also has to find the missing gate money somewhere. Maybe they get it in Detroit, but maybe they don't. Until they find it somewhere Goosen and the rest of Team Ward would be ****** to agree to a site deal regardless of what any of you holier than thou boxingscene posters think.

Ward negotitated this for himself before the tournament started. If they want him to give that up then pay the man more money.
