It's not about forcing, it's about teaching him the proper definition of boxing. Hit without getting hit. There's no such thing as forcing in boxing. It all depends on the teacher if the teacher taught the kid the right way and the effort that was put into making the kid learn the true way of boxing not teaching him how to fight.

A skilled brawler like Tyson. Exciting fighters are bigger draws... (Floyd is the exception)

Hed be a pure boxer. Hit and not get hit.

if you have a son who fights like that he needs to have a foul mouth and a wannabe gangsta attitude to attract people to watch his fights...and you as the father should be a trash talker as well. it would also help if you named him after you.

btw, who teaches to be a wild swinging, toe to toe slugger? there's hardly any teaching in that, that's more instinctual than anything.
if you teach your fighter to do that, then you arent much of a trainer at all.

Instead of watching cartoons with her, watch Pep, Whitaker, Mayweather tapes so that she can see the importance of head movement. Then afterwards show her what would happen if she doesn't move her head by showing her Marquez-Vazquez I, II, & III.
