This way they both can go off and makes names for themselves. bradley can go to 147 and get busy and Devon can stay at 140 and clean up these up and comers at 140. 2 to 3 yrs from now, they can get their $$$ on Bradley vs alexander 2
    I agree with you there.

Yeah, you're right. I'd just hate to see one of them lose so early in their careers.

if he still wanted to be treated like a prospect he shouldnt have gone after a belt. none of this "stepping up in class talk."
Agreed. You step up in class as a prospect, NOT as a title holder.

When Bradley unified against Holt, he had 2 immediate mandatories: Peterson and Alexander. And both of them were thought to be on basically the same level. Ain't nobody know Devon wasn't **** until he knocked out Urango.

Alexander had done less at 140 then Peterson at the time Bradley was forced to make the decision, was lesser known, and had not been on TV as much as him either. You're using revisionist history and
This is Bradley's debut on HBO and anyone that criticizes him for his choice of opposition is an idiot.
I think u need to go back and re-read what was said. The guy I was talking to, made it seem like bradley faced some murderous row of fighters. i don't think he was. And i'm not trying to revise anything in history. I'm talking about right now in the present day. U said it yourself "maidana is the best fight available besides Alexander." Fight alexander, not some Slugger with a puncher's chance!

You just mentioned that this would be a showcase fight for Bradley, this is a championship fight as well..
true, but what I meant was that Alexander/Urango was a unification. wasn't it a unification to soem extent?

it panned out well for Hopkins. this the way the game go sometimes. remember back when Floyd and Corrales was at this similar point in ther careers. It has happened before and i think it should happen again.

OMG!!! BAD-ASS fight right here…good job!! This fight has potential to be FOTY written all over it. Bradley is a great boxer but he’s been caught before by a big puncher and put on his ass and Maidana is a monstrous puncher. If Bradley mixes it up, it could get very, very interesting and in no way would I be surprised if Maidana won, but I do expect Bradley to UD him or possibly stop him late as Bradley has been on point lately. If Bradley takes it, he should step up to 147 which he has the build for and fight Mayweather if he wins, or any of the top dogs at 147 for that matter would be fun.

I was thinking about that but those guys were fighting for an exclusive contract with HBO - which the winner would get.
