Will Pac/May be negotiated correctly or will Arum want to jump straight to Margarito?

that would suck for Pacquiao, but Arum would still get paid cause Pac/May would be even bigger.

True, but a fight with Pac would be even bigger IMO then a Mosley rematch, but that would depend on how good Mosley/Mayweather would be.

          Pac-May is NOT happening.

          Period.

And Floyd-Mosley doing VERY GOOD PPV's will only HELP the fight to NOT happen.

Mayweather and Shane will likely do around 1.3-1.5 m buys and, unless it's a total wipeout, there will probably be a lucrative rematch. That ties Floyd and Shane up for the rest of the year. Pacquiao will likely fight Margarito, which will be a war and will do over 1 million buys, from then on who knows what happens. A Pac-Valero fight could capture a lot of people's attention - Arum will sell it well. Valero has knocked out all his opponents and he'll be marketed as a complete titan. That'll be another 1 m +. I doubt Pac and Mayweather will happen. Both sides are 2 damn stubborn

I dont think a Pacman - Valero fight has that much potential, Valero isnt well known outside of the boxing community and Valero's knockout streak will continue, this one will just be on the side of his record that currently reads zero.

Yeah, but I'm talkin about Arum selling it to the public at large. Manny has crossed over now. Appearances on Jimmy Kimmel will do that for you. ****, Manny against Clottey did 700,000 PPV buys just off the strength of Manny's name. Put him in with Valero, a guy who has KO'd every single man he's fought (imagine how this could be billed and marketed to the man on the street) and they'll do over a mill, IMO. And boxing fans will buy it too cos it's an intriguing proposition

PBF said that the first time after he took a look at his gauranteed money on top of what could be made he agreed to the contract. PBF himself said Arum made him a offer he couldn't refuse and came up with the number he was looking for. It could play out the same way this time as far as the money. **** isn't really about 50/50 or 60/40 when it comes to these two. What matters is that gauranteed figure and if it is met cause everything else is just gravy on top.

Pac-Margarito will happen before Pac-May if Margarito wins his next fight. That is why I hope Margarito loses his next fight. But then again Arum has other choices with fighters under his stable; this fight may never happen.

Pac-Margarito is an easier fight for Pac than Pac-Mayweather. Arum figures he'll have big support from both the Mexican and the Filipino audiences. So I'm guessing he'll fight Margarito in Azteca stadium on Mexican independence day. Hopefully I'm wrong.
